Hello! My name is Andreea. I created this online reading journal to catalog my reading experience. This blog holds me accountable for my opinions on a book which motivates me to read carefully. I also use this platform to review incoming books.
A little bit about me: I am a librarian. I completed a B.A. at the University of Toronto specializing in English Literature and Book and Media Studies, and have an MI from the same university in Library Science and Book History and Print Culture. I currently work at small rare book library at the University of Toronto. Working here has made me find the honest truth in the statement: “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
I raid bookstores everywhere I go, and I love recommending books to people (it gets out of hand sometimes). If there are topics you’d like me to cover, or resources to build, I will be very happy to help. Just contact me in any of the social media links below

*The title of this blog is inspired by David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest — He is an author I’ve admired and his essays are extraordinary, but the length, (including footnotes, and endnotes) of Infinite Jest has always made me want to call it ‘infinite text’ in conversation
Several excerpts from my reviews have been featured in print:
